Call for longtime African American residents of Madison

Wisconsin-Historical-Society-logoThe Wisconsin Historical Society wants to interview longtime African-American residents of Madison about their experiences here over the last twenty to forty years. They are seeking people over fifty who either grew up in Madison or moved here before 1995. They hope to document how life in Madison has changed for African Americans over the last few decades. In keeping with their mission of “collecting, preserving, and sharing stories,” the interviews will be made available to the public.
If you know anyone who may be interested in getting involved, please contact  lauren.russell@wisconsinhistory.org.
